I’ve read both Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone and Murder Your Employer and really enjoyed them both! Everyone in my Family… is a comedic mystery with a true who-dun-it style of writing. Murder Your Employer is also funny but follows three different people trying to pull off the perfect crime of killing their employers after attending a prestigious course on how to do so. If I had to pick one, it would be Benjamin Stevenson’s book because he just came out with another comedic murder mystery earlier this year if you like his work.

I read Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone - it was really good, probably in the 4 star range for me. It's told from the perspective of the main character, who is an author of how to write crime books, but not actual crime books. You solve the mystery of who is the murderer as he solves it. There are a few big plot twists, stories from the past, and they are all snowed in at a remote mountain inn! I thought it had cozy vibes, like a game of clue over the holidays.
